Swimwear For the Family
Spring break and warm weather is upon us, which means it is time to stock up on swimwear for the family! I have compiled my favorite swim styles and brands for everyone from baby to maternity styles!
Swimwear for Babies
For your littlest one, you want to make sure their swimwear offers great sun protection and fits well. Another practical things to consider when buying swim for a baby is that it will offer easy diaper changes (ie snaps) and don't forget the swim diaper! Here are my favorite styles that check all those boxes!
Swimwear for Toddlers and Kids
Here is a list of my favorite swimwear for toddlers + kids! When it comes to boys, there is only one brand and style I recommend now because they are THAT good. For girls, I am sharing my favorite brands to shop each season. Old Navy, Target, H&M and Hanna Andersson have cute prints and a good variety of new styles each season. Swimwear for Men
Men's swimwear is pretty simple - there are two brands that I recommend for stylish shorts at a great above the knee length - goodbye cargo board shorts! Fair Harbor is hands down the favorite, the comfort is unmatched with the built in liner. If you are looking for a more affordable option, the brand Maamgic on Amazon is my next recommendation. They have an awesome print selection, many that match the boys sizes and now offer a style that also has the built in liner for comfort.
Swimwear for Women
Finding the right swimwear can be tough because it is so personal to everyone and their body types. So I sourced our community on what your favorite brands were, along with my own recommendation’s from brands and suits that I have personally worn and loved!
Aerie Swim - My favorite place to shop for affordable swimwear is Aerie hands down! I also polled the group on your favorite swim and it won by a landslide. They offer a great variety of styles for all body types, and different variations to mix and match. I especially love that they call out what bottoms are "full coverage" and offer long torso options for us taller girls. I own 5 one pieces from them and love them all!
Andie Swim - If you are looking for really high quality and timeless suits, my favorite are from Andie Swim. The quality is really top notch and the styles won't ever go out of style. I have owned a black one piece from there for almost 5 years and it is still one of my most worn suits. They also offer long torso!
Summersalt Swim- Another great brand of high quality suits made for all body types is Summersalt. They have inclusive sizing and great coverage in tons of styles and fun colors. Everyone I know that owns one, says they are worth the price and fit so well!
Lands End - When I polled the group for swimwear, Lands End was notably the top recommendation for plus size swimwear!
Maternity Swimwear
I polled the community for the best maternity swimwear and so I am including the styles and brands that had the most recommendations! If you don't want to buy maternity specific swim, I found that I could fit in many Aerie one piece styles well into my pregnancy in a long torso or by sizing up. Otherwise I suggest embracing the bump and rocking a bikini!
