Best of 2024
What a year!! For me personally, 2024 was a year of establishing routine in many parts of my life.
We got in a groove as a family of 5, with Boden not an infant anymore, I felt like I could finally come up for air. I prioritized my health and really went after my goal of building strength, I attended 120 Burn Boot Camps this year which I am really effing proud of! My family tried to create some sort of stability and routine for life for my Mom, who suffered a pretty devastating stroke at the end of 2023, which has truthfully rocked our family. It is a constant sobering reminder how precious life is, but it has helped me prioritize things like my own health, time with close friends and how much I really appreciate every moment spent with my family - every moment is bitter sweet and I really live in the moment more than ever before.
For Everyday Best Buy, it was also a year of establishing routine! It was Karlie and my first full year working together. We accomplished a TON, we rode the crazy wave of social media algorithms, we got some big projects off the ground and rocking and rolling. We put into place a lot of processes that help us stay really nimble, allow us to analyze the business and focus on our goal - making life easier for all of you! Karlie had her 2nd baby girl in July too! I am really proud of this business and still pinch myself daily that this was a small idea I had that now is my full time job and I get to employ my best friend too.
We have big goals for 2025. We are VERY protective of this community and first and foremost serving your needs. Yes, growth is important, but engagement is something we pride ourselves on and will continue to do this coming year. Thank you for being part of our little corner of the internet, I hope we helped you this past year and that you continue to share about EDBB to your friends too!
Top Ten Amazon Sellers
Amazon continues to be our favorite place to shop because, well convenience (duh!). We are all in a very busy time of our life and Amazon makes it so easy to shop for the majority of our daily needs. Below are the top 10 sellers from Amazon for the year and only 2 of them overlap with last year's top sellers - the reusable water balloons and spray bottles for kids, which I am pretty sure almost all of your own by now! The kids tape measure took us by surprise, we were selling over 100 a day all of December leading up to Christmas!
Top Ten Target Sellers
This was a fun year working with Target! I joined their new Creator program in January and became an official ambassador with opportunities to collaborate on campaigns for fashion, kids and baby starting this Fall. I don't take on a lot of sponsored content, as most of you know, because my goal has always been to lead with a voice that is 100% my own, with no strings attached. But these Target opportunities have come my way because this community LOVES Target and I personally shop for the majority of my kids everyday clothes there and obviously love it myself. So, this has been a great fit and I appreciate all the support and engagement on these collaborations! Keep in mind, this list includes items that are available year round at Target, there are tons of best sellers, like toddler water shoes, that were in the top but aren't currently available!
Top Ten from Other Retailers
This year, by no surprise, was the year of Geometry Towels! You all have caught on to the craze and once you use them, you get it. Who knew we could all share such a love over something like kitchen towels, but they truly are superior to all others. A big change that happened this year behind the scenes, was we shifted away from LTK and started using the platform called Shop My when sharing links from most other retailers. Shop My is extremely user friendly for me and way easier to shop as a consumer, so I hope you all have enjoyed that transition!
